Acolyte Of Balthazar using steroids?
Wiki Info
Okay, I know how to defeat her etc, but has anyone else been hit for over 600 damage in one shot? She swung ONCE, entire party (group of 8) was dead.
I normally can tank a good amount but she blasted me to nothing in one hit.
Competitve is one thing, but this witch is on roids.. LOL

PS > acolyte
interrupts > acolyte
blind > acolyte
just have to know what to bring. her chilling victory will blast your party if you clump up, so dont clump.
outside of that, she is no worse than any other boss.

Yep, or just ebat the .... out of her when she is recharging lol (my favorite).
We all know about level 28 and their "double damage", makes me laugh, double my a.. . But that is Anet's idea of balance, makes them happy I guess. I use Norgu with crippling anguish jacked to the hilt, trap her by herself (she loves to chase ya) and then open up on her..
In comparison, the rest of the Avatars are push overs.. Guess Balth had to be the hardest because , imho it's the only one worth getting.

Others are worth more in PvP, so your last time wasn't true.
Yep she hits hard, due to the double damage and 40+ armor when she using it makes it difficult. Not helped by the fact aggro her or the troops around here being about 10 people at you in one go.
I found the best way was to aggro her so she uses the Elite Form, then pick off her troops one by one.
You best bet is to wait for her to turn back to normal then attack. But he quick as it recharges sooner then one would expect.

Avatar of Lyssa is pretty awesome. Combine it, with it's higher max energy, with some of the more expensive enchantments...along with it's +50 damage to foes activating skills is devastating.
Avatar of Melandru is great in the Echivold Forest also. The wardens make you bleed and cripple you and you wont even notice.

Just capped it yesterday with my survivor. Flags and careful luring ftw.
I had no interrupts, no blinds, no hexes. Did bring 2 prot monks and a longbow

I also capped it with my survivor. I remember she was a pain and killed off about half our team, but we survived. Faithful & Watchful Intervention ftw
